IBC Bank-Laredo and Commerce Bank Award Scholarships
IBC and Commerce Bank honor 28 high school seniors with the A.R. Sanchez, Sr. Memorial Scholarship
(July 24, 2020) LAREDO, Texas - IBC Bank-Laredo and Commerce Bank remain focused on the future of the communities they serve by continuing their support of higher education. Both entities awarded area students with the A.R. Sanchez, Sr. Memorial Scholarship as they venture into college and start a new chapter of their lives. Scholarships are awarded to students who demonstrated a "Do More" attitude and leadership in student and community affairs throughout their years in high school.
Born into a humble family, Antonio R. "Awarding the A.R. Sanchez, Sr. Memorial Scholarship is an important part of IBC Bank's ‘We Do More' philosophy," IBC Bank-Laredo Chairman and CEO Dennis E. Nixon said. "Through these scholarships, we are contributing to the development of our future leaders and to the communities where they shall enhance the quality of life. We are extremely honored to assist in the pursuit of their higher education goals and success."
